Death
Mrs. Olive Furr of 1570 Eastlawn, music teacher and widow of C. L. Furr, died yesterday at Mustin Nursing Home whre (sic) she had been a patient two years. Mrs. Furr, 82, was a graduate of Tennessee School for the Blind at Nashville. She had taught voice and piano 40 years and devoted many hours to church work. She was former pianist for Decatur Christian Church and was a member of Park Village Christian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Henderson of the home address, and two grandsons, C. E. Henderson of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Michael Henderson of San Antonio, Texas.The Memphis Press-Scimitar, Memphis, Tennessee, July 2, 1971
