Death
Carolyn Austin Furr, 83, of Marshville, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 at her home in Marshville. Mrs. Furr was born August 15, 1938 in Union County, North Carolina to the late Fulton Lester Austin and the late Ada Austin. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm, Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church-Marshville. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Marshville officiated by Pastor John Miller. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Survivors include husband, Gib Furr of Marshville, NC; son, Randy Furr (Jean) of Marshville, NC; and grandchildren, Delaney and Arron Furr.
