Death
Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Furr, 71, of Gulfport, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Furr died Tuesday morning in Kings Daughters Hospital in Brookhaven after a long illness. She was the widow of Orren C. Furr, a native of Copiah County and a member of Mississippi City Methodist Church in Gulfport. Survivors include two brothers.Clarion-Ledger, Jackson, Mississippi, May 3, 1978
