Death

ANDERSON, Jean Mensing, age 83, passed away June 20, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carmel H. Anderson Jr.; and her son, Carmel H. "Sandy" Anderson III. She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl A. Furr and her husband, Buddy; two grandchildren, Erin and Evan Furr; one sister, Beverly Sale; and a niece, Cassie Sale. Jean retired from The Defense General Supply Center after 32 years of service. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Richmond. A graveside service will be held at Dale Memorial Park on Saturday, June 23, at 10 a.m. Contributions, in lieu of flowers, can be made to Hospice of Virginia, 1700 Bayberry Ct., Suite 300, Richmond, Va. 23226, or St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Emmaus Program, 815 E.
