Notes
Death
Mae Louise Scroggins Furr of Sand Springs Oklahoma, went to meet our Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the age of 81. Louise was born on April 14, 1943, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William and Elenora Scroggins. Louise spoke fondly of her childhood. When she was 14, she joined a country music band called, “Teddy and the Sunshine Girls”. She sang music and played the guitar and told many stories to us over the years. In 1959, Louise had a dance party at her house. Some “Westside” boys came over and her life was never the same. She met Johnny that night and they married and their bond lasted 58 years. From that marriage, they had 4 daughters. Angela Kuske (Troy Kuske) ; Rhonda Hix (Lance Hix); Lorri Acklin; April Wegener (Chris Wegener). Louise was very proud of her 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Grandchildren: Britnee Hughes (Will Hughes); Halee Nasworthy (Michael Nasworthy); Lindsee Fields (Todd Fields); Piper Reynolds (Kyle Reynolds); Meghan Melone (Logan Melone) ; Haden Acklin; Drake Acklin; Canon Acklin; Cade Wegener; Raigen Wegener; Easton Wegener. Great-grandchildren: Baylor and Dakota Nasworthy; Carly, Wren and Clint Hughes; Olivia Fields and Riggs Reynolds. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny, her parents and her precious, sweet grandson Cade Wegener.Endnotes
