Death

Josefa “Josie” Siaotong Price, 84, of Pearland, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at her home. Josie was born on May 5, 1935 in Barotac Nuevo, Philippines and moved to California in 1953. She obtained her Nursing Degree in 1957 from Mount St. Mary’s College. On April 12, 1958, Theodore Price and Josie were married and had 5 children. Josie was a registered member of St. Helen’s Catholic Church for 50 years, and was an avid volunteer in several organizations, which she received several awards. She is survived by her loving children: Bernard Price and wife Carolyn, Lori Furr and husband Patrick, Eric Price and wife Pam, Ted Price Jr. and wife Debbie, and Kesha Sobotik and husband Doug. Also her precious 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by Theodore Price, her brother Victor and sister Corazon “Cora” in the Philippines, and sister Haita, and brothers Enrique “Ike” and Bernardo “Ban” Jr of Texas, and 28 nieces and nephews. Josie is preceded in death by her father Bernardo Siaotong, mother Piadosa “Dusay” Palma, sisters Veronica and Leoncing “Lee”, and brothers Lope, Esperidion “Dion”, Rupert, and Emilliano “Emile”. The celebration of Josie’s life will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2019, from 5:30pm until 8:00pm, with a rosary and vigil starting at 6:00pm, at Niday Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston 77089.
