Death

Mrs. Patricia Taylor Furr, a resident of Prattville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025. She was born on August 19, 1943, to the late Mr. David Taylor and Mrs. Hazel Barton Taylor. Mrs. Furr was preceded in death by her parents, David and Hazel Barton Taylor, and her daughter, Brenda Hall. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Byron Furr; daughters Linda Albright, Angie Bryant, and Jeanette Sandlin (Keith); sister, Jean Silas (Raymond, Sr.); grandchildren Amanda Newman (John), AJ Bryant, Kyle Sandlin (Kristle), Jessica Cox, Trey Sandlin (Jordan), Taylor Friday, and Selena Lopez; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; niece Hazel Donaldson (Johnny); and nephew Raymond Silas, Jr. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Hunter Station Baptist Church, 4700 Birmingham Hwy, Montgomery, AL 36104 with Pastor Earl B. Wise officiating. Brookside Funeral Home, Crematorium & Memorial Gardens of Millbrook, AL, directing.
