Death

Mrs. Ruth Furr, 49, of Huntsville died Nov. 21, 1990, at her home. She was born June 13, 1941, at Boston, Ark., the daughter of Mart and Daisy Russell Swearengin. She was a nursing assistant at Huntsville Memorial Hospital and Meadowview Lodge. Survivors include her husband, Jesse Robert Furr of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Elaine Schulz of Logandale, Nev., Miss Natalie Wilhite of Caldwell, Idaho, Miss Marleen Wilhite of Springdale, Miss Angela Wilhite of Killeen, Tex., and Mrs. Brenda Lambertus of Houston, Ark.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mart Swearengin of Aurora; one brother, John Paul Swearengin of Aurora; one sister, Mrs. Lydia Cleo Morales of Tucson, Ariz.; and nine grandchildren. Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Easterling officiating. Interment was in the Venus Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Bob Goodings, John Anderson, John VanAmburg, Ed Evans, Rick Gurley, and Davie Coleman.
