Death

Clinton Gene Smith, 30, died Monday, December 4, 2017. He was born July 2, 1987, the son of Preston E. Smith and Kathy Sue Furr Smith. Clinton graduated from Trinity High School class of 2005. He was a sub-contractor welder for Thomas Built Buses Inc. and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he is survived by his stepmother Kimberly Ison Smith, two brothers, Preston Lee Smith of Archdale and Bryan Patrick Justice of Trinity; one sister, Danielle Marie Justice of Glenola, NC; and a special niece Hailey Ketison. Clinton was preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Hancock Furr. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 7:00 PM with the Rev. Morris Little officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Davie Burial & Cremation Service of Lexington is serving the Smith family.
