Death
Kathleen Hinson Love, 86 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 at her residence. Kathleen was born March 31, 1931 in Moore County, North Carolina to the late Claude C. Hinson and Pauline V. Hinson. She was also preceded in death by first husband, Charles Keith Smith, second husband, Larry Ephraim Love, son, Charles Ray Smith, sister Nellie Mae Whitley, four brothers Levi C., Buddy, William Ronald (Billy) and Terry Hinson; and son-in-law, Tommy A. Furr. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church in Stanfield officiated by Rev. Dr. Darrell Nance and Rev. Bruce League. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Vivian Love Furr of Stanfield and Kathy Smith (Danny) Burns of Greensboro; eight grandchildren, Candice Crisco and Amber Smith, Tonya Furr, Tiffany Butler and Tara Furr, Amber Copple, April Holland and Keith Burns; 13 great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Sonny (Maureen) Hinson and Carl Lanie (Carmen) Hinson. Kathleen was a very loving mom, grandma, sister and friend. She had a passion to witness to everybody she came in contact with through her special poems and handmade cross stitch crosses. Kathleen was a strong Christian lady who showed God's love through the life she lived and by being a faithful member and church leader at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church. Her Christian light shone bright for others to see and she loved all her family and grandkids. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kinza Memorial Baptist Church Youth Fund, 4311 Love Mill Road, Stanfield NC 28163. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Love family.Endnotes
