Death

Frances Eva Lee Evans Greene, 89, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at her home. A funeral service was held 2 p.m., August 5 at Star House of Praise. The Rev. Timothy Wolfe, the Rev. Terry Kivett and the Rev. Matthew Morgan officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Greene was born to Arvil Dewitt and Ola Agnes Barber Evans. She was a retired C.N.A. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Bill Lee Greene and son, William Anthony Greene. Greene is survived by daughter, Teresa Furr of Candor; son, Darrell Lee Greene of Kernersville; brother, Bill Evans (Anne) of Virginia; sisters, Mary Campbell (Ray) of Asheboro, Brenda Lunsford (Gary) of Archdale; grandchildren, Lisa Wood, Amy Greene-Clonaris, Dana Marshburn, Debra Millikan, Ben Furr, and April Smith; ten great-grandchildren.
