Death

Susan Furr passed away at the Baton Rouge General on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the age of 62. Susan enjoyed gardening especially with native plants, cooking, listening to Gospel music, and spending time with her family. She once managed Oak Haven Farms in Prairieville, LA. And was the head of herbs and perennials at Plant and Patio in Pearl, MS. She was preceded in death by her father, Clint Austin. Susan is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Julius Furr; children, Myranda Roberts, Christy Roberts, Carly Kirk, Caleb Furr, and Sally Lemelle; 11 grandchildren; mother, Vera Austin; siblings, Kenny Austin, Vicky Johnson, Mary Lewis, Dean Austin, and Paula Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Central, LA on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 3 p.m. until Funeral Service at 4 p.m.
