Bill proudly served as a Presbyterian Elder throughout his life. Previous residences include: Warren, Ohio; Barrington, Illinois; Wilmington and Davidson, North Carolina. Bill was the son of William Alexander, Sr. and Mildred Furr Stephenson, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Carole Ann Greene Stephenson, daughters Kimberly Robbins and Lori Kury, and grandchildren Lansdon, Drew, and Allie. Bill will be remembered most for his love of life, and his faith in Christ. His many friends will attest to his wonderful personality and positive attitude, every day spent with him was a gift. Favorite hobbies included: Golf, and Tarheel Basketball, but his true love was spending time with his three grandchildren on Ocean Isle Beach. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's name toShallotte Presbyterian Church, 5070 M.H. Rourk Drive - P.O.
