Death

Jimmy Leon Anderson, 73, of Tuttle, died Monday, June 6, 2022, at his home in Tuttle Oklahoma. The son of Truman and Marie Anderson, he was born July 1, 1948, in Oklahoma City. He married Barbara Farley on November 30, 1973, in Oklahoma City. In his younger years, Jimmy worked for AT&T (formerly Western Electric) and as a big rig truck driver and was Baptist in faith. He served his country in the Marine Corp and served in the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and one sister, Lois Martin. Jimmy is survived by one brother, Jack Anderson and wife Donna of Oklahoma City; one sister, Nancy Brown and husband Billy Brown of Blanchard; one son, Brian Leif Anderson of Tuttle; two daughters, Christina Abbot of Lawton and Autumn Rachelle McCracken of Tuttle; four grandchildren, Aaron Christopher Furr of Tuttle, Jewel-Nicole Josephine McCracken of Tuttle, Lacie Bonnie Scoggins of Dibble, and Austin Whatley of Moore; five great grandchildren; and many other loved ones and friends. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 10, 2022, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
