Sheila Lynn Yow Furr, 48 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 at CMC - NorthEast in Concord. Mrs. Furr was born December 5, 1965 in Cabarrus County to Louis Roger Yow and the late Nelta Kay Benton Yow. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be on Monday at 2:00 pm, with a 30 minute state prior to the service, at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church in Stanfield officiated by Rev. Dr. Darrell Nance. Burial will follow in the Kinza Memorial Church Cemetery at 4311 Love Mill Rd., Stanfield, NC 28163. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Survivors include her loving husband, Curtis Furr of Stanfield; father, Louis Roger Yow and wife, Linda, of Stanfield; son, Travis Joel Benton of Stanfield; stepson, Daniel Furr and wife, Kelli, of Locust; stepdaughter, Tema Smith and husband, Eric, of Albemarle; brother, Mark Yow and wife, Tracy, of Stanfield; and four step- grandchildren, Karsyn and Kailey Furr, Mallary and Cole Smith.
