Death

Elaine Meyers Vodanovich, age 86, passed away in Pensacola, FL on Friday, August 23, 2013. She was the wife of the late Steven P. Vodanovich, Sr. She was the mother of Esther Vodanovich, Paula Vodanovich Furr, Steven Vodanovich, Jr., and Marie Vodanovich; grandmother of Steven Vodanovich III and David O Furr, Jr.; and great-grandmother of Kaylee and Ayla Furr. Mrs. Vodanovich is also survived by her sisters Genevieve Paternostro, Jeanne Jensen, Mary Linam, Pauline King, and Camille Scallan. She was a former employee of LSU School of Dentistry. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at the Jacob Schoen Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, August 27th from 7 – 9 pm and Wednesday, August 28th morning visitation from 9 – 11 am with a Funeral Mass followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
