BURLINGTON — Judith Meacham Hunter, 66, of 2335 Deep Creek Church Road, died at 6:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, 2005 at her residence after a lengthy illness. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Wilbur Eugene "Gene" Hunter, who survives, and the daughter of the late John and Eva Meacham. She was a retired Allstate Insurance agent and a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Survivors other than her husband of the home, include two daughters, Marcy Furr Harding and Julie Furr Smith and husband Neal, all of Burlington; two sons, Russell Wayne Furr and wife Connie of Burlington and Michael Eugene Hunter of Graham; a sister, Jane Meacham Stackhouse of Graham; six grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2005 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by the Rev. Curtis Oakley. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Park. Visitation will be this evening, November 27, 2005 from 6 until 8 at McClure in Graham, and other times at the residence.Endnotes
