Death
VIENNA — Services for Isa Lee Furr, 87, of Hillview Health Care Center, will be at 11 a.m. today, at the Aly Funeral Home in Vienna, with burial in the Kerley Cemetery in the Flatwood community. Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. today. She died at 11:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 5, 1985, at the Hillview Health Care Center in Vienna. She was retired from Dunning State Hospital, near Chicago. She was born on May 6, 1898, in Johnson County, to William and Janice Hazel Simmons. She married James Furr, who preceded her in death. Also preceding in death was one daughter. Survivors include one brother, Loren W. Simmons of Joliet; one half-brother, Jewell Simmons; and one sister, Luva Mecchi of California.Southern Illinoisan, Carbondale, Illinois, December 7, 1985
