Death

Jacqueline "Jackie" King Furr, 74, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital. She was born on January 21, 1948 in Asheville, NC, to the late Jack and Beulah Jones King. Jackie was a 1966 graduate of East Mecklenburg High School and attended Central Piedmont Community College. She was passionate about her job with the Clerk of Court office, where she had work with Mecklenburg and Union County. She loved her flower garden and going shopping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Morris King. She is survived by her husband, Danny W. Furr; daughters, Heather Furr and Danielle Furr Sebastian; brother, Johnny King, Sr. and wife, Theresa; sister-in-law, Vickie King; and grandchildren, Jacob Lineberger and Riley Sebastian. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 5 from 11:30am-12:00pm with a graveside service following at 12:00pm at Sunset Memory Gardens with Rev. Tom Gibbs officiating.
