Death
Bobbie Swetman Furr, age 94, of Pascagoula passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012. She was born Oct. 20, 1917 in Sumrall and has been a long time resident of this area. In 1982, she retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding in the traveling department. Bobbie was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pascagoula. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Anderson Furr, Jr. and brother, T. J. Swetman. She is survived by two nieces and two nephews; her God daughter, Kay Davis (John), Gautier; numerous friends and church family. Memorial Service will be Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, 11:00am, at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
