Death

Sallie Evelyn Tidmore, 90, of Bald Knob, Arkansas departed this life on March 13, 2025 at her home. She was born October 5, 1934 in Waveland, Arkansas to the late James Henry and Zelma Rector. Evelyn was loving and kind with a sweet demeanor. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was known for her love of cooking and her joking personality. In her later years, Evelyn liked to watch the animals in her yard and enjoyed taking care of her many pets. She will be greatly missed by those that knew her. She is survived by, her daughter, Pamela Fowler (David Stacks), grandchildren, Stephanie Davidson (Kevin Marshall) – Grandma wants to know when y'all going to get married, and Eric Davis, great grandchildren, Brittany Davidson and Matthew Davidson, and great great grandchild, Sophie Davidson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Tidmore, her son, Gary Tidmore, and sister, Ella Jo Hughes. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob, Arkansas with cremation afterwards.
