Death

Edgar Pettit, 75, of England died July 22. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include four sons, Bud Pettit of England, Billy Pettit of Kansas, Ellis Pettit of Missouri and Kenneth Pettit of Danville; three step-sons, Bobby and Jerry Morris, both of Missouri, and Thomas Morris of Casa; five daughters, Mrs. John Pointer jr. of Pine Bluff, Mrs. J. W. Sharp and Mrs. Alice Rose, both of Missouri, and Misses Sharon and Kathy Pettit, both of Danville; a sister, Mrs. Missy Brewer of California, 18 grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral was Monday at Wilson Funeral Home. Burial was at Mulberry Cemetery.
