Death
JACKSON, Ala. — Rose Lyn Furr, a former teacher at Jackson High School, died Monday in a local health care facility. She was 84. Mrs. Furr, an Alabama native and Jackson resident, was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson. Survivors include her son, Michael Furr of Jackson; her sister, Alice Beck of Mobile; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. today at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with services at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson.The Mobile Register, Mobile, Alabama, July 9, 1997
