Death

CONCORD Elizabeth Clara Kennedy, 87, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. She was born June 7, 1926, in to the late Morris Cordell Bost and the late Susan Emma Furr Bost. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Sarah Bost Honeycutt, and Caroline Ruth Bost. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 4, at Cold Springs United Methodist Church. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. at Cold Springs United Methodist Church in Concord officiated by the Rev. Tony Bell and Pastor Mary Hatley. Burial will follow at the Cold Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery at 2550 Cold Springs Rd., Concord. Survivors include niece, Deborah Seabolt and husband, Jeff, of Concord; niece, Anita Honeycutt of Concord; brother-in-law, Ralph Honeycutt of Concord; great-niece, Melanie Hilton of Concord; great-niece, Whitney Seabolt of Concord; great-great niece, Taylor Hilton of Concord; great-great nephew, Brayden Hilton of Concord; cousin, Ray Bost and wife, Barbara, of Mt. Pleasant; cousin, Susan Fearrington and husband, Scott and their children, Hillary and Luke of Mt. Pleasant; cousin, Amy Williamson and son, Corey of Mooresville.
