Death
CONCORD - Mrs. Minnie Frances Carroll Bost, 81, passed away Tuesday at CMC-NorthEast. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Mullis officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Wilkinson Funeral Home. Mrs. Bost was born July 29, 1929, in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Fred Hall Carroll and Beulah Benton Carroll. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Otis William Bost, and a daughter, Linda Gail Furr. Frances retired from Cannon Mills and was a member of Near Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Janet B. Anderson and husband, Lewis, of Charlotte; sons, Dale Bost and girlfriend, Jessica, Jimmy Bost and David Bost and wife, Carol, all of Concord; grandchildren, Lisa, Jeffrey, Angie and Natalie; six great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Near Calvary Baptist Church, 274 Honeycutt Drive SE, Concord, NC 28025. Condolences may be left at www.wilkinsonfuneralhome.com.
