WALNUT COVE Sharon Darlene Norton Rominger, 55, passed away Friday evening, March 25, 2016, at her home. She was born November 26, 1960, in Stanley County, NC, to Charles Edward and Gladys Raymell Furr Norton. Sharon was a animal lover and took in any that showed up at her home. She was a excellent mother and wife always there to help when needed. In addition to her mother, Sharon was preceded in death by one step daughter: Jamie Rominger. It was Sharon’s wishes that there would be no formal visitation or service.  She is survived by her father: Charles Edward Norton, her loving husband of 13 years: Ricky Rominger both of Walnut Cove, one daughter: Andrea Miller of King and one step daughter: Chelsea Rominger of Walnut Cove, two grandchildren: Tristyn and Riley Bates.  In lieu of flowers memorials may to made to The Humane Society of the United States, 2100 L St., NW Washington, D.C. 20037. Burroughs Funeral Home in Walnut Cove is serving the Rominger family.
