Death

Lilly Rose Johnson, age 72, a native and lifelong resident of Coden, AL died on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Dorothy Collier. She is survived by her husband, Charles Dave Johnson, Sr., 7 children, Peggy (Russell Baker) Johnson Bodin, Charles (Nora) Johnson, Jr., Richard (Melonie) Johnson, Harry (Tammy) Johnson, Nancy (Mason) Furr, James (Melissa) Johnson, Betty (Doyle) Golemon, 9 brothers and sisters, 32 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at Hemley Road Church of Christ on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 12noon. Visitation will be 11AM until service time Thursday at the church. Interment will be in Oddfellow Cemetery.
