Death
KANNAPOLIS — A coroner's Jury here ruled Tuesday at a coroner’s inquest into the November 24th death of Mrs. Nina Fortson Furr, 35, of Kannapolis, that she came to her death in a car wreck near the Cabarrus - Mecklenburg County line, as the result of her own negligence. Earl H. Willeford, 59, of Packard Avenue, Kannapolis, testified he was a passenger in the car, and saw Mrs. Furr lose control of the car on a curve. The car careened off the road and hit a large rock. The Salisbury Post, Salisbury, North Carolina, December 20, 1956
