Death

MOUNT PLEASANT - Mr. Timothy Dean Boone, 45, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at North Carolina Baptist Hospital from injuries suffered in an auto accident. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Gabe Galdo officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Wilkinson Funeral Home. Tim was born Aug. 18, 1964, in Cabarrus County, son of the late Leroy John Boone and Sarah Therrell Helton. Tim proudly served our county in the U.S. Army. He worked as a finished carpenter. He was a giving person and touched many lives. He showed these qualities by being an organ donor to save others. Tim was greatly loved and will be remembered by everyone. Survivors include his wife, Margie Furr Boone; sister, Debra Boone of N.C.; brothers, Wayne and Richard Boone of N.C. and Daniel Boone and wife, Liz of S.C.; special niece, Aprill Mills; step-daughter, Alison Freeze and husband, Terry Estes; step-sons, Robbie Freeze and Michael Coffin, Jr.; grandchildren, Trevor and Jared Munger, Kane Estes, Carmen Freeze, Shian Freeze, Jewel Estes and Terry Estes, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wilkinson Funeral Home P.O. Box 344 Concord, NC 28026-0344 to help with funeral expenses. Wilkinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
