Death

Jarvis Roan Cloy A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather died at the age of 84, on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospice Carpenter House. He was a native of Sicily Island, La, and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was retired from the industrial construction industry. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jean Furr Cloy; two sons and spouses, Richard and Christine Cloy, of Baton Rouge, Clint and Brenda Cloy, of Tomball, Texas; grandsons and spouses, Lain and Amber Cloy, Reid and Lauren Cloy, all of Keller, Texas; and a granddaughter, Chandler Brooke, of Tomball, Texas; great-grandchildren, Addyson, Auldon and Cason Cloy, all of Keller, Texas; brother, Billy Cloy and wife Marjorie, of Baton Rouge; sister-in-law, Mary Louise Cloy, of Magnolia, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Richard H. and Pinkie Bowman Cloy; brothers, Frank, Johnny, Jerald, Wallace, Charles Cloy; sisters, Barnie Stubbs, Anna Furr and Nellie Hair. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Friday, March 30, from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. Visiting continues at the funeral home on Saturday, March 31, from 1 p.m. till service time at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
