Death

Terry Nettles, 56, of Hickory, died Saturday, March 27, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Nettles was born in Moore County to John Bigford and Francis King Bigford of Hamlet. Survivors include his wife, Nettie Evan Furr Nettles of the home; his daughters, Amanda Greer of Lenoir, Amber Zaremba of Granite Falls; Terri Nettles of Hudson, and Jennifer Keener of Hudson; sisters Phyllis Taylor of Rockingham NC, and Kathy Warner of Charlotte NC; twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son Shannon Nettles. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 3:00 pm in the Pendry's Chapel with Pastor Paul Ritchie officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers are Coby Davis and Eric Zaremba.
