Death
Mrs. Lillian Yow Furr, formerly of Van Gogh Drive, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Best of Care Assisted Living. Her funeral will be 2 PM Monday at Carolina Memorial Park officiated by Rev. James Strickland. The family will receive friends 12:30 PM Monday at Wilkinson Funeral Home. Lillian was born September 12, 1933 in Concord to the late Jesse James Yow and Jessie Scott Yow. She was also preceded in death by her husband Bois A. Furr. She retired as Office Manager for Doctors Brown and Hammonds, and later worked for Lambert’s Day Care. Lillian was a member of Kerr Memorial Baptist Church she taught Sunday School. Lillian loved children, and she loved shopping. Lillian is survived by her son, Bois “Chip” A, Furr, Jr. and wife Patti; grandson, Britton Furr and wife Ann; great grandchildren, Landry and Lilly; brother, James Yow and wife Eleanor; and a number of nieces and nephews.Endnotes
