Death

HENDERSONVILLE - George R. Hall, age 86, of Hendersonville, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend, George Hall, left this world to be with his late wife, Rosemary and daughter, Becky. He leaves behind his daughters, Mary Jo Furr and her husband, Don, Judy Huth and her husband, Erick and Rachel Hall; and grandchildren, Jonathan, Nicholas and Alexandra. Mr. Hall was an esteemed veteran of the WWII 551st AAA Battalion. Service and Burial: A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, March 11 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Rd., Nashville, TN. Internment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery with military honors. Visitation: Visitation will be held at 12 noon until service time. Memorials: In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum, 8419 State Route 54, Hammondsport, NY 14840-9795. Mr. Hall's family would like to thank Bordeaux Long Term Care for their medical care and compassion. Spring Hill Funeral Home is assisting the Hall Family.
