Through Christie's illness, she brought together her family, longtime friends and strangers, demonstrating how to face a challenge in life with dignity and grace. She was an inspiration to everyone. Her laugh was infectious. It always brought a smile to the heart of everyone around her. Christie embraced life with energy and determination. She had an unconditional love for her family and for life. Christie enjoyed special trips to the Mountains with friends, family and shagging trips to the Beach, cookie sleepovers with "Granny", 60's music, and dancing with her 'sweetheart' in the driveway. Her life will be long remembered as a beautiful symphony of smiles and laughter. She was our very special 'Granny and Mama Mia'! WE LOVE YOU GRANNY!
