MORGANTON, N.C. | Betty Lou Wilson Avery, 92, of Morganton, N.C., died peacefully at her home, Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005. Survivors include her daughters, Ann Avery Davis and her husband, Henry Derrick, of Garden City, and Mary Lou Avery Furr and her husband, Jimmy, of Morganton; grandchildren, Katie Patten of Hendersonville, N.C., Lydia Daniel of Morganton, James Avery Davis of Charleston, and Tim Davis of Columbia; and great-grandchildren, Audra, Brenna, Julia Ann, Avery, Carter, and Anna Scott.
