BROOKHAVEN — Mattie C. Mullins Furr, 80, a homemaker, died of heart failure Tuesday at Brookmanor Nursing Home. Services are 1:30 p.m. today at Hartman Harrigill Funeral Home with burial in Easthaven Cemetery. Mrs. Furr, a Brookhaven native, was the widow of John E. Furr Sr. She was a member of Union Hall Baptist Church in Lincoln County. Survivors include: son, John E. Furr Jr. of Brookhaven; brother, Grady Mullins of Brookhaven; and two grandchildren.Clarion-Ledger, Jackson, Mississippi, January 13, 1994
