Death

Larry Stark, age 89 of Austin, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009. Larry served in the Army- Air Corps for ten years, spending some time in India during World War II. Returning from the service he became a carpenter and took great pride in the work he did on many custom homes in the Austin area. Gardening was a favorite pastime for him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Stark and son, Kenneth Stark. Survivors are his daughters, Carolyn Bradshaw and husband Robert and Linda Furr and husband Dale; son, Brian Stark; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Clifford Stark, Helen Bostick, Marvin Stark, Clarence Stark, Milton Start and Weldon Stark; and numerous family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Harrell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at the Funeral Home on Monday at 2:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Capital Memorial Park.
