Irene Marie Eppler
Marie Eppler, of Wynnewood was born February 18, 1920 in Bokoshe, Oklahoma to John and Elsie and Rose Etta (Freeman) Williams. She passed away March 26, 2005 in Lone Grove, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years. Marie Williams and Earl Bentley Eppler, Sr. were married in Davis, Oklahoma on November 18, 1939. Marie went on to earn her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certificate. She was a member of Wynnewood First United Methodist Church and had made the Wynnewood and Joy areas her home most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Bentley Eppler, Sr.; 3 sons, Bentley Eppler, Buddy Eppler and Gary Eppler; 1 grandson, Daniel Furr; 2 sisters, Myrtle Simpson and Bonnie Clemons; and 2 brothers, Arles Williams and Leon Williams. Surviving family include her 3 daughters, Rose Gwendolyn McLaughlin and her husband, Louis, of Jenks, Linda Howard and her husband, Ron, of Moore, and Melissa Eaves and her fiancé, Joe Bostic, of Lone Grove, Ok.; 2 sisters, Hazel Jones and her husband, Bob, of Davis, and Jean Lack and her husband, Bill, of Joy; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Wynnewood First United Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
