Mr. Robert Ray Jordan better known as Ray age 75, of West Jefferson, NC died on Friday, June 10, 2016, at his daughter's home. Mr. Jordan was born on November 26, 1940, in Ashe County to the late Allie and Bertha Elliott Jordan. Funeral services were held on Monday, June 13, 2016, at 2:00 pm. Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife, Mary Goodman Jordan, daughter Jan and husband Matt Gregory of Albemarle, NC, son Jon Jordan and wife Mandy of Charlotte, NC, grandchildren Jackson, Eva and Robert Jordan of Charlotte, NC, brother Elmer Jordan and wife Wilma of West Jefferson, sisters Louise Reedy and husband Warren of Hickory, NC and Patricia Pennington and husband O.H.
