Death
KANNAPOLIS - Barbara Owens Burr, of Kannapolis, died at the age of 63 in Durham on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Owens, and she leaves behind her mother, Omie Furr Mullins; brothers, Jerry and Larry Owens; husband, David Burr; five children, Amanda Sue, Melinda Lynn, Rodney James, Tammy Leigh and Jeff Ray; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories, family and friends. A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Friday at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Rev.
