Death

Funeral services for Milus Alexander Sells, 89, were held at 3:00 pm Wednesday at the Coalgate Church of Christ with Gil Yoder conducting. Alex was born Aug 27, 1897, in Cooke County, Texas to Edmond Deberry Sells and Annie Trammell Sells and died Sept 1, 1986 at Ada. He was a retired rancher and farmer and was married Beulah Beatrice Howerton. She preceded him in death on May 7, 1951 at Coalgate, as did a sister Annie Lowe, and three brothers, Mance Sells, Joe Sells, and Leonard Sells. Survivors include four daughters, Leona Holder and Dorothy Williams both of Coalgate, Christine Thomas, La Mirada, California: Katherine Midkiff, Houston, Texas: four sons, Milus Sells, Scammon, Ks: Marvin Sells, Atwood, Ok: Denver Sells, Gerty, OK: and Frank Sells, Coalgate: three sisters, Myrtle Posey, Harrison, Arkansas: Leona Lamb and Florence Cutbirth, both of California: 20 grandchildren:19 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Burial will be at Non Cemetery under the direction of Epperson Funeral service.
