CONCORD — Mrs. Linda Modine Haywood Furr, 53, of 627 Old Charlotte Road, died Saturday, October 18, 1997, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 1997, at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Concord, with Reverend Marvin Honeycutt officiating. Burial will be in Bonds Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Waxhaw. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday, October 20, 1997, at the funeral home. Born November 1, 1943 in Union County, she was a daughter of Mrs. Edna Eubanks Haywood and the late Samuel W. Haywood. She was a member of Bonds Grove United Methodist Church, Waxhaw. She was a doffer with World Elastic Company. In addition to her mother of Charlotte, NC, survivors include her husband, William Lee Furr of Concord, NC; sons, Ricky Lee Furr of Concord, NC, Jeffrey Michael Furr of Harrisburg, NC, and Jimmy D. Furr of Richfield, NC; brothers, Joseph Haywood and David Haywood, both. of Charlotte, NC; half-sister, Mrs. Evelyn Shook of Monroe, NC; and four grandchildren. The family will be at the home of a son, Ricky Lee Furr, 627 Old Charlotte Road. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concordic serving the family of Mrs Furr.
