STANFIELD — Mrs. Pauline ‘Polly’ Morgan Long Furr, age 80, of 8768 Rock Hole Rd., died Tuesday, August 31, 1999 at Union Regional Medical Center, Monroe. She was born in Stanly County N.C. March 16, 1919 a daughter of the late Ervin Otis Morgan and Rosanner Tucker Morgan. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Hartsell Chapel, Midland, N.C., with the Rev. Kinney Wallace officiating. Interment will follow in Long's Grove Advent Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation from 7-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Furr is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Williams Harrington and husband Frank, of Stanfield; brother, Floyd Morgan of Mussel Shoals, AL; sisters Mrs. Arline M. Murray of Locust, Mrs. Clara M. Walter, Concord; 2 grandchildren, Ricky Wayne and Jimmy Dean Williams; 2 great-grandchildren.
