Death

Alexander G. Murphey, 76, a farmer from Tippo, died Saturday, January 5, 2008. Services were Monday, January 7, 2008, at the Tippo Methodist Church. Burial was in the Tippo Church Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Weems Murphey; sons, Alex Murphey of Tippo, and Morris Murphey (Elise) of Enid; daughters, Cynthia May (Mike) and Patricia Murphey, all of Jacksonville, Fla., and Morrianne Furr (Randy) of Wesson; sisters Betty A. Knight of Tippo, Linda DeLoach of Holcomb, Collene Allbright of Walls; brother W.G. Murphey of Tippo; his mother Mrs. Garner Murphey of Tippo; and seven grandchildren.
