Death
Funeral services for Vivian Hill Furr, 83, of Marvell were held at 11 a.m. today at the Cypert Church of Christ. Mark Spencer officiated. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park. Mrs. Furr, who was born Nov. 27, 1916, died Dec. 17, 1999 at her home near Marvell. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Cypert Church of Christ. She leaves two sons, Virgil Furr of Dover and Mackie Furr of Marvell: four daughters, Montine Ramsey of West Memphis, Margaret Louise Patterson of Marvell, Geraldine Wooten and Linda K. Arnold both of West Helena: four sisters, Vera Owens of Helena, Alice Davenport of Stuttgart, Gladys Trice of West Helena and Cora Mae Dyce; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were, Curtis Pettie, Keith Catlett, J.W. Beard, Horace George. Russell Scaife and Eddie Bartlett. Honorary pallbearers were William Snooks Beard, Gene Bryant, Franklin Easley and Dr. Marion McDaniel.The Daily World, Helena, Arkansas, December 20, 1999
