Donald Lee Furr, Jr., 31, a cook, of North Las Vegas, passed away March 30, 2007. He was born Jan. 27, 1976, in Charlotte, N.C., and was a resident of Nevada for 14 years. Donnie is survived by his father, Donald Furr, Sr. of Charlotte; mother and stepfather, Marian and Jack Haylock of Las Vegas; brother, Darrell L. Furr of Las Vegas; grandparents, Peggy Furr of Charlotte, E. J. Yuska of Torrance, Calif., and CC Dukes of Westminster, Calif.; uncles, Duke and Randy "Bud" Furr, both of Charlotte; aunt, Donna Jones of Charlotte; uncle, David Cleavinger of Las Vegas; his aunts, Susan Cleavinger of Las Vegas, Karen Simpson of Lancaster, Calif., and Stefanie Dukes of Westminster, Calif.; 16 cousins and 20 second cousins. Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 7, with service to follow, both at Affordable Cremation & Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
