MOUNT PLEASANT - Minnie Belle Page Furr, 82, of 28492 Rowland Road, died Saturday, April 7, 2007, at NorthEast Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Mission Baptist Church Cemetery, in Locust, with Dr. Ronny Russell officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. Mrs. Furr was born Jan. 28, 1925, in Stanly County, the daughter of the late Hardy Washington Page and the late Idell (Moyle) Page. She was employed as a spinner. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lee Roy Furr. Survivors include her daughters, Brenda (Furr) Hatley of Locust, Judy (Furr) Blackwelder of Mount Pleasant, Linda Kaye (Furr) Wetter of Mount Pleasant, Patsy (Furr) Starnes of Albemarle and Lynn Furr of Albemarle; brother, Ray Page of Locust; sisters, Elsie Blackwelder of Mount Pleasant, Bessie Harkey of Mount Pleasant, Kaye Dale Marze of Concord and Fay Fisher of Kannapolis; special friend, Hurley Harwood of Mount Pleasant; 11 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
