Death
Furr, Rufus Jackson, 51, a resident of Montgomery for 32 years, died at his home, 53 Garden St. Monday at 10:30 a.m. following a brief illness. Survivors are the Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dewitt Furr, Montgomery; one sister, Mrs. E. L. Perrett, Montgomery. The funeral was held from White Chapel today at 2 p.m. Burial was in Sardis Cemetery.Alabama Journal, Montgomery, Alabama, May 24, 1960
