Doris Fultz Leonard, age 74, of 834 S. Park St., Asheboro died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 11:00am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark C. Beane officiating. Mrs. Leonard was born April 1, 1938 in Randolph County to Carl and Maggie Myrtle Furr Fultz. he was retired from Walker Shoe Company and attended Asheboro First Wesleyan Church. In addition to her parents Mrs. Leonard was preceded in death by her son Roger Leonard. She is survived by her husband, Homer Leonard; son, Russell Dale Leonard and his wife Jamie of Asheboro; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Perdue Leonard of Asheboro; grandchild, Matthew Brandon Leonard of Asheboro, Scott Russell Leonard and his wife Angie of Asheboro, Traci Lynn Leonard of Asheboro; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Frances DeVrise of Irons, MI; brother, Matthew Mack Fultz of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Asheboro First Wesleyan Church, P.O.
