FURR, Mrs. Bessie Beasley, 67, a resident of Rt. 1, Luverne, AL, died Friday, February 17, 1984. Funeral services will be held Sunday, at 4 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Travis Hitt officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery (Old). Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Survivors include her husband, Owen C. Furr, Luverne; five children, Jane Wells, Luverne, Roger and George Furr, Montgomery, Charles Furr, LaPine, James Furr, Rutledge: fives sisters, Brooks Furr, and Luvine Pippin, Montgomery, Irene Armstrong, Luverne, Grace McQueen, Highland Home, Betty Beasley, Tiler, TX; two brothers, Balford Beasley, Montgomery, and Andy Beasley, Avondale, AR; fifteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.The Montgomery Advertiser, Montgomery, Alabama, February 19, 1984
